In all honesty.. Khan was promised a $6mil & Canelo $10mil.. Anything they make beyond that which in this case they easily have is a bonus.. So even if Khan did not hit $13mil(again projected & not promised money) he made more than $6mil (more like 4.5mil pounds)..

My point is, even if you have got the math wrong, not to worry.. fighters got their promised money & then some..

Seriously this dude is a idiot. GGG last fight did a live gate somewhere between 500k-1m when he fought Wade. We don't know the exact figure because they gave away a ton of buy 1 get 1 free tickets and refused to release the live gate figure to the associated press after the fight. But based on the ticket prices not possible for it do more then 1m in ticket sales. Canelo just did 7X that amount in 1 night. It's not about selling the most tickets idiots. It's about generating the MOST revenue and maximizing the money off the tickets you do sell.

It's why I shake my heads when people say Floyd should fight in a football stadium. Why? He can easily sell out a 60k stadium in any city in the US hell Canelo has twice basically sold out baseball stadiums with 30-40k in attendance. But you make more money fighting in small arenas in Vegas. The smaller number of tickets make it more exclusive so you can jack up the prices. And it's Vegas which draws the high rollers to the casinos. Some people just don't get it saying it only sold 13k tickets, yes at over 600 bucks a pop. That's like telling Armani why aren't you selling as many shirts as the cheap department store shirts. If Armani just wanted to increase number of sales they should drop their prices. But that ruins the brand and they are literally selling shirts that are 10-20X the price of the cheap department store making huge money because of it.
