I think we are talking about two different things.

I'm talking about the clean test a week or whatever previous to the dirty test not A sample & B sample stuff with the dirty sample.

Pre fight / Post fight I highly doubt it matters, it will be the same test.

Well I mean I can see the bolded. My assumption would just be that you'd take enough blood &/or piss to pinpoint an issue in the lab with that sample. So for example you don't do the $1,000 test to detect the brand name of the synthetic testosterone that you may or may not find being used from jump street, but you got enough blood &/or piss to get down to those finer points with the first sample if you need to.

If they are doing these tests like you are suggesting it seems like it'd give guys more chance to outsmart these tests cuz a guy doing something sketchy could figure there is gonna be a solid chance these red flags pop up once they'd been tested & they'll be back to test him again in another week or few days or whatever & could take some actions that could help him pass this potential future test.

Once you've been caught they'll ask if you want the results of the B sample.

Okay so then my original question applies. If Browne is using an undetermined steroid for performance & clenbuterol to mask that steroid why did Browne's first test upon arrival in Chechnya come back clean of an undetermined steroid & clenbuterol, but a later test came back dirty? Did he take a steroid in hopes it'd help him in days & just have his fingers crossed that the clenbuterol doesn't show up if he got tested again or post fight? I guess its possible, but its a ****ty strategy. Did he just take clenbuterol even though it seems like a not so great PED for a HW? Again seems like a ****ty strategy. But we all know theres some dumb mfers in boxing so who knows.

With all the sketchy testing & corruption going on around this area I'm at least entertaining the option something more sketchy went on here is all I know for sure. Ultimately curious about this story & I wouldn't be surprised if sketchy PED testing stuff becomes a new thing in boxing with some of these "away fighter" positives going on.

Bboy was talking some stuff about they retest guys on red flags in prior tests or something else that I was talking about that I think he misunderstood. I was talking about the first clean test & the second dirty test. He thought I was talking about the dirty A sample & the dirty B sample of the second dirty test.

I would imagine a masking agent was used, some sort of diuretic. This would dilute the sample. This is how 99% of ped users pass.

Isn't clenbuterol the masking agent often times? I mean if he was using clenbuterol as his PED of choice that would really be ******. Its primary usage is as a weight loss supplement in a division with no weight limits.

And if he was using a masking agent to mask a PED often used as a masking agent what did he do run outta that masking agent right before the next test? I mean okay like I've said a few times already a lot of **** is possible, but most of this **** seems clumsy or just dumb strategy for a person who's risking his future by doing this sorta stuff.

I just see a lot of potential holes with this stuff considering the issues with this geographic region & past sketchy PED ****. You don't need many sketchy PED activities to go down before you gotta question all positive PED results, but in particular those with as much nonsensical angles as this one.
