Saunders wants no part of him so if it's not Canelo or Jacobs it's gonna be another fking stiff...there's no one at middleweight and at 168 Degale and Jack are unifying. Zurdo is a nobody still...so Chavez Jr. Is the only option I guess and he will get hammered for that decision as well...
If its a tune up to a bigger fight no one can complain, but hopefully Canelo and GGG agree and non of this will matter

You guys are always saying GGG doesn't fight anyone....in10 days he could negotiate with Jacobs and have that fight lined up
If GGG gets Canelo that fight will happen in September.

If GGG doesn't get Canelo he can still fight Jacobs around the same time frame (even if Jacobs fights in July.)

There is really nothing to whine and cry about here.

He's been sitting out 8 months on his own choosing. He didn't have an injury, there's no politics against him, his own team wanted him back. He's the legit #2 MW in the world who's mandatory to the #1. Let it happen now so that there's not something else to get in the way later.

It's always something with guys not being able to fight Golovkin, and yet all we hear is how Golovkin doesn't fight anyone.

The "issue" is why delay GGG-Jacobs just so Jacobs can do a tune up? He decided on his own to sit 6 months after only boxing 1 round. Well GGG-Wade only went 2 rounds and I dont hear GGG saying he needs a tune up. You guys are too much into that "Andre Ward plan", thinking every fighter needs a tune up (or 3) before every big fight. Its insane.

There is NO credible reason Jacobs couldnt wait 9 days and see if the GGG fight is available. If he really wanted the fight, thats EXACTLY what he would do.......

Lol. Own choosing. They fight when the TV dates become available. If he does fight Golovkin it won't be till October/November anyways.

Dudes trying to set the stage for another GGG bum beating. Why not just let everything unfold before you start your damage control.

the fact that he would rather see GGG-Jacobs instead of GGG-Heliand or GGG-Korobov is "damage control"?

Dude. You guys are insane. You are accusing Jacobs of this masterplot to remain inactive for 8 months and perfectly time his comeback to avoid a fight with GGG. Are you serious?

The only reason I can think of that one would be this paranoid is to establish a basis to excuse a potential bum fight.

Jacobs fighting in June/July should have no affect on an October/November fight date. PBC fighters are generally inactive because they can only fight as TV dates become available.
