Obviously with Canelo that's just a Mexican fanbase thing, Canelo is just admired by fans, no matter what anyone says on here about Canelo being hated, I don't think that's true. I think fans love Canelo, his fighting style, his looks, demeanor and his poise

With Ward, who can relate to him? He's like the perfect guy, perfect personality, politically correct, his replies are honest, only talks down to other fighters when he gets rattled by them, etc. And fans still don't really like him like you'd think an undefeated guy who won Olympic Gold, and has a great personality and fought the best, should be loved...it's cause none of these *******s can relate to him. Have you seen the makeup of boxing fans? They're not exactly stand up citizens if Boxingscene is any indication of the boxing fanbase

Well it was u always harping on about the A side and canelo can do this canelo can do that...and if golovkin wants this fight he has to take the 155 catchweight ..well now it's been proven no he don't have to accept the catchweight ...canelo is a big name of course but he's not a global icon like mayweather or pacquaio and I always knew that you was wrong and be man about and accept your wrong....look we can argue till were old and past it but the bottom line is ....ppv is a dead fish in terms of really high numbers now..catch weights are killing it..over the top purses are killing it and I do think the biggest fight of the century has a lot to answer for and the poor numbers we are seeing now is a direct result of that fight and I will say this 250 million for mayweather and 100 million for pacquaio has litterally ****** the sport dry....no fighter should ever get that amount of money ..it's far too much and it's hurt boxing far more than people realise...we can have normal adult discussions because I feel strongly about this

3x, at best..... and Khan is likely responsible for 1/3 of those. Canelo is likely responsible for 2/3, just like Cotto was likely responsible for 2/3 of the buys in their fight. Cotto is a beast, easily the 2nd highest draw now that Mayweather has retired.
