I can see where Khan is coming from and its the same reason Floyd isnt giving him that payday. Of course it will frustrate you if someone keeps using your name and saying youre scared of them. Difference is Floyd could fight anyone and generate lots of $$$. I do see them fighting as no sane man will turn down a guaranteed £7million payday. Let Brook unify and Khan beat Garcia then have the ultimate welterweight showdown with 3 belts on the line.

Khan is to Brook what Calzaghe was to Froch, what Hatton was to Witter. A stepping stone to a huge money fight after being broke for years upon years, super stardom or at least somewhat of a star after beating a a well known name world wide.

Khan like the others mentioned above doesn't want to be that stepping stone to help fund Brook's pension and give them that platform, simple as that.

That's exactly it. Egos are preventing this fight from happening. I for one hope it stays like this. Would admire Khan if he refused to give them the stage they so desperately want.

Khan reportedly made £9 million, the best case scenario last time out, from Hearn, was £5 million. If those numbers are true then Hearn will have to at least double his money. That is not happening.

Plus, why would Khan give up a possible Vegas date with Garcia?

I'm really not surprised by the incredible hype that Khan manages to generate for himself, he really is the P4P king of self-publicising.

He almost had me believing his stock had actually risen after the Canelo KO until my wife busted me one on the chops - she said I should stop watching Khan interviews because I get a faraway look on my face.

Khan has all the attributes of a cult leader, the most important being self-delusion, and, with his bulging bank balance, I think that would be an excellent career move for him once he decides to hang his chin up.

Khan hasn't had a belt since 2012,but always big upping himself and talking about how Brook's not big enough.If he ain't,fight him and take his belt.Why would Pac or May fight a champion less fighter? For the guaranteed KO? Khan is in denial about what happened last weekend.He's not elite and a chinny fighter.It's all good and well taking on all-comers but clearly either Hunter isn't that good a trainer or Khan is an airhead who doesn't listen.Six fights with Hunter and he still has no D. Khan's purse for the fight was $2 Mil. Where is the other $11 Mil coming from if he's set to make $13 Mil? I know box nation carried the fight but I highly highly doubt they paid $11 Mil for the rights. Where is he getting the other $11 Mil?

Hearn is claiming on social media that Khan didn't make anywhere near 9 million on Saturday. Presumably he thinks Khan made less than 5 million, since that still seems to be his offer for Khan to fight Brook.

I'm not too sure about the £9 mill figure (remember we're talking pounds here, in dollars that would be around 15 mill). I do however know for a fact that his bottom line fee was £4 mill pounds, that's like 6 or 7 mill in dollars. Add to that money from overseas broadcast sells etc and Khan would likely have made over £5 mill anyway.

Hearn has to increase his offer if he keeps saying that Khan/Brook makes more money.

the £4 mill was just what Khan was paid, that doesn't factor in any of the other revenues for earning off of this fight.

Now, I highly odoubt Khan would make 8-10 mill in pounds against Brook. It's a big money fight but it's not a 20 million dollar fight. That's Pac/May level of earnings lol

I see that number keeps getting lower and lower. First it was $13 Mil. Then I read $9. Mil. Now I'm reading $6 mil. His purse for the fight was $2 mil. Where did the other $4 mil come from?
