The possibilities in match ups for him are just as risky as they are for Canelo within that 6 pound range.

True. Lemieux hits like a bull but he's vulnerable to someone who can box (ref: GGGs beat down of Lemieux). Canelo is talented but the thing that might make a fight with David interesting is that Lemieux is hungry and needs some credibility after his loss to GGG. Either way exciting things forthcoming in the middleweight division. Looking forward.

Oscar may be dumb with his addictions and his women but he knows perception is reality to boxing fans regardless of whether the facts are easy to find because quite frankly look at all the folks talking about Lara and Golovkin when Lara has done nothing but mention his name.

      haha irony

You either want the belt or you dont.
There is nothing to defend. GGG doesn't give 2 ****z about the WBC belt, he cares about money that comes with a fight against a big name. For this reason hes had to play ball against guys like Nelo and Cotto. If he forced the issue these guys would have just dropped the belt, and while hed have the belt he'd have no big fight.

David shouldn't get that fight but he will it's going to happen sooner or later.

Lemieux would kill himself trying to make 157. He can't do it. He can barely make 160. Those extra 3 pounds would kill him.

I don't get the WBC hate here. If k2 Steps aside, that's on them

If GGG/K2 fall for another banana in the tailpipe, ****, they deserve to be jerked around. But I fully expect they know fans won't tolerate another step aside, as they've said they're done stepping aside.

It says the same thing in the article.

If WBC goes back on the contract they gave k2, yes they can be sued.

For that kind of check he'd give it a try, look at Geale who looked like a corpse at the weigh-in for Cotto. Money makes people do crazy shizznit.

But team GGG will look like dumbasses if they allow another interim fight only to have Saul vacate then. This **** needs to be resolved already, one way or another.
If GGG takes another step aside then shouldn't we be crooks make him defend his mandatory position?

I didn't like that last part about big fights of the past taking years to make. Golovkin is 34. The time is now!
