This is a legit interesting question. I've been a huge fan of name guys doing things on a fight by fight basis since Floyd started doing what he was doing & showing it was possible. What does Floyd offer that Haymon can't offer on top of other things namely freedom from the typical sketchy ass promoter contract? I'm not sure. Maybe Floyd is gonna offer him some tips lol.

I think Mikey is looking at TMT because he would be the best on the roster. Maybe he thinks that would bring him some additional perks.
I would probably go to GBP if I were Mikey. They are a better operation than MP right now. They do a good job promoting to Mikey's base (Mexican Americans) and he could be the semi main on the Canelo PPV's.
I suspect the problem is that allegedly Mikey is already with Haymon & obviously there are issues with Haymon & Oscar working together so its unlikely Haymon would steer him that way.Comment

Yea truthfully GBP would make the most sense if he's signing with a promoter. Throw Mikey on some Canelo undercards for the next year, year & a half & build up his name to sights unseen for him. Headline some HBO cards in between. He'll be in great shape & getting nice money in no time.

Idk about the most hated, but I think he's gonna have a lot of people ****ting on him regardless cuz all signs point to him being with Haymon already & at this point being with Haymon has worse PR than being with Floyd I think.Comment

LOL wtf. Mickey Bey was making $8k as a contender with Top Rank & joined Mayweather Promotions & got a pay raise & was led to being a player in the division making 6 digits per fight til he thought he was big **** & f#cked it up by turning down a 6 digit fight (he's the unnamed guy Floyd *****es about in his Berto post-fight presser).
You guys being fanboys need to decide if you're mad at guys getting paid too much or mad at guys being paid to little. Seems like it switches up with who a guy switched over to or who a guy is with.
Since you're so butt hurt and quick to defend Floyd, how about Jessie Vargas? Why do you think he left Floyd?
What do you think, is Mikey better off with TMT?Comment

There was zero agenda in my previous post. Your example is Mickey Bey, but who is Mickey Bey? How many boxers with the same stature started with even $5K or less?

Mayweather Promoters did something for Bey Top Rank would've never been capable of. This is a guy who was destined to fight on TopRank.TV undercards for small 5 digit paydays. He's a lil guy, with a boring unexciting style with nothing notable about his personality that Mayweather Promotions turned into a player in his weight division. These are just facts. Oscar, Floyd & Miguel all did great things with Top Rank, but once they left they all did even better. Gamboa did ****ty post-Arum cuz he picked a new promoter who didn't know **** about boxing & now he's with another promoter who doesn't know **** about boxing so his story isn't looking up. There seems to be more success stories after leaving Arum than staying with him. So you saying Mikey is gonna regret leaving him sounds like some TR/Arum fanboyism then a logical comment based on facts.

I think Mayweather Promotions is a more fighter friendly promoter whos looking to build the best fighters & get fighters the better paydays while Top Rank is just searching for the next PPV guy who's a cardboard cutoff fake persona type guy or looking to cleverly matchmake the lesser guys til they get them knocked off by their better contracted fighters or can get them into a title shot where they sink or swim while attempting to hook them indefinitely with re-signing them prior to big fights or leaving them hanging if they don't play ball. Basically they treat their fighters like products instead of people. I've been watching boxing long enough to see the patterns.Comment
