You guys being fanboys need to decide if you're mad at guys getting paid too much or mad at guys being paid to little. Seems like it switches up with who a guy switched over to or who a guy is with.
The guy tested positive for roids... he had the second highest testosterone level in the history of Nevada. Srsky - Google it... off topic I know, just random hilarious fyi

I think thats more to do with Gamboa being a f#cking knucklehead (who I greatly dig as a fighter, but he's a f#cking knucklehead). I mean I don't even think he "left" Top Rank really cuz his new faux "promoter", 50 Cent, was just putting him on the same Top Rank cards he was trying to get off of originally lol. Obviously you aren't going to do better **** when you are working with the same guy just with an extra middleman.

I seen something where he signed with some new bs promoter who's not even promoted a fight so he's staying f#cked up cuz he's a knucklehead.

Mikey is a smarter guy. He'll get paid equal (since he does got the hiatus right now) or better or he won't even sign with anyone I'd be willing to bet.

Whats that got to do with anything? He was making more per fight than he probably made in his whole TR career & actually got moved towards a belt. He did some dumb **** sure, but he did better for his career by leaving Top Rank for Mayweather Promotions til he did some dumb ****....and more than once cuz like I said he started thinking he could turn down 6 digit paydays while being a guy no one was really wanting to see.

You can twist it to make it seem overall bad, but he got put into positions no one in the business was gonna put him in, in particular Top Rank, except probably Mayweather Promotions & he become a player in his division & still is a player. If he was on Top Rank he'd probably still be fighting on TopRank.TV & getting paid maybe $20k per fight by now.

Same for Chavez Jr. Turned down a 2 fight deal with a guarantee of $12mil if he lost the first fight and $17mil if he won the first fight to go with Haymon and get his azz kicked by Fonfara for far less!

Miss Watching mikey fight. Thought he had a bright future. It seems like Floyd takes care of his stable. Could be a good move. Looking forward to seeing him the ring again

If he signs with TMT he'll instantly become the most hated fighter in boxing. He'll reach Mayweather/Ward level of hate. People would rather see him stay with the ***ish guy who is known to sign fighters to predatory contracts and bribe boxing officials than the black guy who showed the boxing world how to make hundreds of millions in the sport.

Why would he sign with Floyd if he can just go over Floyd's head and sign directly with Haymon? Not that that's in the best interest of Mikey but Floyd barely has a stable worth even mentioning.

What Mikey needs to do is think of who can give him more options and land him the big fights without all the network/promoter drama. Which promoter has more access to fighters that Mikey can face and make bank off of.

Arum is out of the picture although I think their feud had to do with Mikey feeling he was worth more at the time than he actually was. Don't know exactly what led to the falling out but Mikey was certainly on the rise and making a name for himself when he was with TR.

That narrows it down to GBP and Haymon.

I think Mikey is looking at TMT because he would be the best on the roster. Maybe he thinks that would bring him some additional perks.

I would probably go to GBP if I were Mikey. They are a better operation than MP right now. They do a good job promoting to Mikey's base (Mexican Americans) and he could be the semi main on the Canelo PPV's.

Floyd and ODH left Arum as well. Didn't hurt them at all.

Wouldn't mind seeing him with mayweather. Although I think Mikey should definitely be competing at 135. He can take out all comers. Linares in particular. If I'm not mistaken, al Haymon has a ton of talent at and around 135. Maybe setting up a fight with the talent pool of at 130. Those guys are all moving up eventually.
