Wait what? Are we suggesting that Mayweather vs McGregor or Garcia is going down on PPV the same night as Alvarez vs Golovkin? What exactly is the point of that?

Or is Floyd vs whoever gonna be on regular TV & Canelo vs GGG would be on PPV? Wouldn't the Floyd fight have to be on earlier btw? Can't be on regular TV maximizing your audience at 11pm I don't think. Therefore I think most people are watching both fights anyway. Hell if I was GBP I'd make 2 PPV options, the full card & just the Canelo vs GGG fight for x dollars less then the full card & plan the fight to start about a half hour after Floyd's fight ends. So whats the point of that?

Seems like you don't wanna overlap fights here & I don't suspect anyone would cuz again what exactly is the point except f#ck up the other guys money a lil bit or more likely just play chicken over a date.

His worst is when he's the one chasing his opponent. He couldn't catch Peterson. He even got murked when Peterson decided to stand in front of him.

Point is, Mayweather's fights sell when there's a strong perception that the opponent is strong enough to beat the best eva to a pulp. Fans want to see him lose. This is non existent in a Garcia fight.

I'll be surprised if it gets 50K PPV.
      CBS not PPV.

LOL yea two black guys fighting, one from Michigan & the other from Haiti, on Mexican Independence Day didn't make a hell of a lot of sense. People blame that fight doing ****ty numbers cuz of some Floyd vs Manny backlash, but its not nearly as complicated as that. It was a fight no one cared about on a date that made no f#cking sense.

Who the hell would root for Floyd disrupting a Canelo-Golovkin fight????
        LOL & this.

I love Floyd. I grew up in Michigan. I knew he was gonna be a bad mofo long before most people on this forum or anyone else for that matter, but I don't see anything that Floyd can do that is more interesting & likely to happen that'll more be more compelling then GGG vs Canelo. Putting Floyd & Canelo vs GGG would be counterproductive to boxing & just some silly ass ego move to try to lay claim over a date.

Floyd didn't even do 400k against Berto and Garcia also has no real fan support. Als this fight is utter trash.

          Canelo GGG is huge business.

its crazy. first the idea of mayweather fighting on cbs is crazy. no way they can pay him his minimum of 100mil. Besides that going head to head only hurts both promotions instead of maximizing them.

People are happy Floyd is retired, the people who wanna see him are just a small group of people, they wanted to see Pac beat him yeah, but that fight came 6 years too late and was the biggest farce in the sport of boxing. It hurt the sport badly and the current fighters try to rebuild it.

CBS Corp. have the CBS Sports and Showtime Sports brands. Also PBC or Haymon Sports has the welcoming on CBS Corp. in general.

TMT 50 is one brand in itself! It all about the production and marketing for it. How many people want to see Floyd lose? PPV have a good client relationship with UFC. Therefore, all it takes is the fee or rights to display PBC anyway possible (even slightly) on a PPV event. If it's still a multiple fight deal, this could also explain a 9 digit payday.

Conor McGregor and his following would add so much effect on TMT 50 I foresee 4-6 million on PPV. The gullible bunch of UFC followers and all the other 100s of networks taht hyped Conor before his fall to Diaz would be gullible enough to think he could beta Floyd. Conor or Floyd on standard YouTube metrics is higher than Alvarez vs Lil'G.

never gonna happen. No athletic commission will grant mcgregor a boxing license and a fight against Floyd right of the gate. Boxers start with 4 round then 6 round fights. Even with his mma experience no one will allow him to go straight to Floyd.

Tmt 50 is a brand in itself? So what? That brand means nothing, less than nothing. Absolutely nobody cares to see Conor Mcgregor fight Floyd Mayweather. That fight has cheap sideshow written all over it. Floyd never had much of a fan following anyway. The people who paid to watch his fights were people hoping to see him get knocked out. All Floyd ever did was run and run and run and run and not get knocked out. Nobody likes Floyd and nobody wants to see him fight anymore, UNLESS they think there's a decent chance he might knocked the **** out. That's the only thing people want from Floyd, is to see him get KTFO, outside of that he's worthless.

Mayweather vs Garcia is a great fight, even better if it was aired on CBS.
