Golovkin is oldschool though, he keeps his wife in his home...even at his wedding he's like this is all the excitement you get from me:

Seems more like a punishment than excitement..

Ggg really speaks the truth. Love it. He will get the last belt cause canelo won't fight the middleweight limit. That's fine they'll fight in a few years when and if canelo wants to legitimately move upto the middleweight division

Yep that was the offer. I'll even admit that wasn't a good offer for GGG. So what was their counter offer?........

I agree. So what was K2's counter offer to negate that situation?.......

And he gives all this up just for a Ward fight, that assuming Ward doesnt pull out with an injury or lawsuit, isnt even a big money fight??

When the WBC mandated Martinez to fight GGG, K2/Dibella/Cotto were able to come to an agreement that allowed the Cotto/Martinez fight to happen. When the WBC mandated Cotto fight GGG, K2/WBC/Cotto came to an agreement to allow the Geale fight to happen. When the WBC mandated Cotto to fight GGG after the Geale fight, K2/WBC/Cotto/Golden Boy came up with an agreement to allow Cotto/CAnelo to happen. When the WBC mandated Canelo/GGG to happen, K2/Golden Boy/WBC came to an agrement to allow Canelo-Khan to happen (and still allow Khan to remain the mando for Garcia). K2 has done WBC a couple of favors by allowing fights to go thru and not forcing the WBC to strip their champ. But suddenly I'm to believe the WBC is going to follow the rules to the letter of the law because GGG would've fought Ward? The recent history of K2/WBC proves different. So again I ask you. What was K2's counter offer to Ward?

Lets hope it happens. Its going to take a pretty major excuse to get out of this one
Lol that was obvious. The people saying Canelo ducked GGG to fight Khan are dumb ****s. K2/GGG let them.

              - Gennady, first, I would like to say that your entrance into the ring was quite unexpected...

              - I was sitting in the front row. Canelo invited me into the ring, and I agreed thinking that he wanted to say something to my face or maybe to announce something. But there was nothing. Most likely, his team did not expect that I would go up there. They tried to keep Canelo as far as possible from me.
Yeah there was nothing, all he said was to stop ****ing around and that you are next and he is not afraid of anyone, all in Spanish. Because of course speaking in Spanish to your face would have proved something, with your Mexican style drama show bull****

In all the instances you mentioned, there was "something in it" for each party to the deal. Golden Boy would have gained NOTHING by allowing GGG an extension to do the Ward fight. It would have been against their best interests at that point. They would have been far better served by having him stripped, and then they would have 100% of the leverage down the road when any Canelo-GGG talks would have been as an optional fight, not a mandatory defense.

I also forgot to ask you wouldn't the same thing have happened if they went with Froch or Floyd? They were still ready to accept those fights. So in your opinion (I've never heard the WBC or K2 talk about losing the mando spot) why were they willing to lose it for Floyd or Froch but not Ward, if unification was really priority #1?

Ward sent his offer to Loeffler after GGG had signed to fight Lemieux and had been given a contract by the WBC gauranteeing him a mandatory shot at the title - providing he beat Lemieux, of course.

Loeffler's response was that Golovkin's focus was on 160 and that if Ward wanted the fight at 168 he should come back and ask again in 2017.
