It all depends on if he is able to back GGG up and gain his respect. Otherwise hes getting knocked out.
When near the ropes he should surprise gennady by moving forward into the inside.

Then he can bust gennady up with bodyshots to decrease his punching power

It's an intriguing match-up due to the styles. It's really the type of fight the boxing needs to bring back worldwide interest.

Both fighters have done a great job setting up the stage, now it's time to perform.

Neither man loses cred if they drop the decision, someone has to lose when the best fights the best.

I think it would be better for Alvarez to neutralise GGG's jab by using his hand speed......Golovkin has fought at middlewight pace fro long....his outboxing versus Lemieux and Stevens was very slow and methodical. Canelo grew up fighting at the lighter weights and has seen more speed and higher paces than that, he should do 2-3 bursts of combinations and some potshots from the outside each round... power shots are almost always more appreciated by judges than jabs.....GGG will have to abandon the jab and press more if he wants to win......

Of course that gives you the problem of dealing with his pressure....if Canelo cant hurt him, he gets worn down and stopped.
Golovkin will throw left hooks to Canelo's body, before going to his head.

Pretty much, we will just have to see if he can gain his respect.

Alvarez issue is every time he has beat an at least good fighter the fight was always close as h3ll.

Good thing for Alvarez gennady style plays into his hands.
If GGG's skills are so suspect how comes that Canelo ducked him so far instead of fighting him last Saturday?

gennady is one of the least respected fighters because of how he wants to manipulate weight classes.

I'll fight this guy at 154. But I won't fight another at 155.

I don't think this fight will be competitive.

Canelo is sharper than Golovkin in the pocket, but I don't think he'll be aggressive in this fight so he's not gonna get close to Golovkin and he obviously can't win at range.

To get inside Golovkin you would have to take a lot of punishment and Canelo is too defensively responsible to do that, he's not a 'take one to give one' kinda fighter.

It's a very easy fight to call.

It's highly achievable through the use of body shots. gennady takes it to the face well but his body is suspect.

He kicked Monroe's azz, but there was a notable difference in his behavior after he got some bodyshots on the inside.
