    How Alvarez Neutralizes gennady's Jab

how do you envision him doing it?

I think he'll start by jabbing with him to disrupt gennady's stick.

Once the timing is down Alvarez counters it with his new fav punch the right hand to the body.

The jab will be nonexistent when they're fighting inside. I don't like how gennady took them bodyshots Willie Monroe inside.

gennady is far from a flawless fighter and has only faced opponents he eclipses in ability.

imo the quality of his performances will plummet when he finally steps up in levels.

I don't think Canelo ever gets past the jab to set up body shots. GGG has far too many weapons and has shown them against top level comp. Canelo needs to prove he's special and he can do so by beating GGG.

But I'm glad some of the guys on here are believing in Canelo. I don't want to see any excuses if he loses.

people don't respect Canelo's defense at all, he is not a reckless fighter at all, the man has some BOXING SKILLS. I don't know if it is because he is Mexican if that is why people don't want to acknowledge the man BOXING SKILLS and only want to talk Power. He himself continues to say that he has more that just power which is true! As for neutralizing the Jab? Simple, MOVEMENT!

So we're going to just continue to pretend like Canelo don't have good Defense and can't be slick in the ring when he needs to be? Yeah OK he can't cut the ring off great blah blah blah but he does have some athleticism

So skill wise who's the superior fighter?

              Alvarez got the better defense.

What I like about gennady is how he'll do a slight angle variation on his punches to land em around high guards.

Sometimes, his left hook has an overhand motion to it. He'll make his right cross wider before impact to land cleanly.

I'm going with Canelo! Because I seen him demonstrate his skills vs far better competition compared to just fighting guys who are tailor made for him. Again GGG can be hit, he doesn't move his head much so hitting GGG will be a lot more easier than hitting Canelo based on their styles! Canelo does have enough Pop to do damage, not sure why people are thinking Canelo won't be able to hurt GGG

Canelo defense is good, yes. He can move and avoid that jab. It's a very interesting fight.

There's a question mark on the quality of gennady's skills. He has yet to prove them against a good fighter.

Alvarez issue is every time he has beat an at least good fighter the fight was always close as h3ll.

Good thing for Alvarez gennady style plays into his hands.
