Its a tactic to slow the punches down , just like hitting the hip to slow the legs down .

You guys really need to go into a boxing gym and get some understanding of whats going on when you watch fighters in action .

My point is why not just say "You are right. Floyd should not be demanding CWs like he did with Canelo. Especially when they both held titles at 154. That was really bad...... "

"Oh yes, same goes for the CW with Marquez. There Floyd was worse in that he expects others to follow the contracted CW but Floyd is different. He does not care about no contract and came in at the weight he wanted and just paid Marquez"

Built to destroy? The only thing Nelo is destroying is 140 and 147 fighters.

I didn't think much of the win at the time, as I totally expected it. But the better Canelo's resume gets, the better Floyd's victory looks. Unlike a KO, there is no way to call a 12 round schooling a fluke.

Floyd would do the same today at 155.

It's a myth that Canelo was green and weight drained. Floyd is just better than Canelo in every aspect of the game, other than size and strength.

Manny beat Oscar at 147 , then Cotto for his title had to be 145 !

You got a bit of double standard going on there you might want to straighten out !

Then after you explain that one we have JMM must be 143 , fight was nip and tuck many thought JMM was robbed , so lets have a rematch now JMM you got to be 147 .

Then we got Rios you got to be 147 but Algieri got to be 143 , both JWWS and both coming of loses .

Then we got his phony 150 title that was the biggest set up fight in years , you could make a movie from that script .

You wanna get into Floyd and Manny about weight you will get tore a new one because NOBODY in the history of boxing has manipulated weight by contract like Manny has , not even close and thats a very easy fact to prove .

If you ask cw you will be criticized, so no use saying Floyd would have beat him anyway! Why ask cw in first place? There's got to be a reason why you need one!

I respect how Floyd did what he did against the drained version of nelo. You can't say he weren't drained, the whole purpose of the cw was to drain nelo said how hard making weight was.
Floyd gets credit but less than he would have, same with pac
