Khan fears getting hit so much so that he freezes up when he no longer has enough room to slide out of the corner, this is why he is terrible at countering. Khan isn't the risk taker you make him out to be either, when he is badly hurt he at least understands that he has no other choice but to fight, but he will never try to get anything going on the inside or look for any counters from mid range, he's always on his toes until he feels it's safe to unload those useless combinations he throws.
