Fat Dan has been saying for months that Canelo-GGG wont happen this year and as he has been sucking DLH's **** in the leadup to this fight, I reckon that he is on the money here

TBH, it makes sense to me as Canelo is only 25 and a devastating defeat could literally destroy his (and Golden Boy's) earning potential in the short-medium term.

IMO, it makes perfect business sense for them to avoid GGG like the plague by ducking back down to 154 for a while
