I hope Khan knows what he's doing. I just hope he doesn't jeopardize his speed by weighing in that heavy. Perhaps he's sending a message that he is looking to increase his punching power by weighing that much.Comment

To date, Frankie Gomez' toughest opponent has been himself, whether troubles at the scales or with making weight. The unbeaten welterweight conquered at least one demon, coming in at the 146-pound catchweight mark for his 10-round clash with hard-luck contender Mauricio Herrera, who weighed 145.5-pounds.

Khan weighing 155 is ridiculous, unless he intends to trade with Canelo.
He should be weighing closer to 150.
Canelo by TKO before the 10th.Comment

I've seen more atmosphere in a fish and chip shop than what I just witnessed.....the drastic weight loss that canelo makes to get to 155 must not be good for his body and will hurt him in the end.....they didn't take long in reading out his weight as well......suspect

He weighed 155, you asshat.
What difference will that make tomorrow ?
If you can make 154, and be healthy for 12 rounds, then you are a JMW..... re-hydrating will not change that.
Learn the sport.
And if you can make 155, and be healthy for 12 rounds, then you are a canelo-weight..... rehydration weight will not change that fact either
You can call him whatever you like dude, he still weighs 155.Comment

So let's call him a MW then, because that's what he is.He weighed 155, you asshat.

And course Canelo weighing 15/20 lbs more than Khan tromorrow night will make a difference. If he handles rehydration the same way he has done in the past, the extra weight will give him a significant advantage.
That is a fact which nobody who knows anything at all about boxing, or any other combat sport, would ever question.
Ask yourself this question .. if doing what he's doing with the catchweights and severe cutting isn't giving Canelo an advantage over his opponents, then why does he keep insisting on doing it?Comment
