What did Roy Jones Jr. do to earn a shot at the HW title? What did Algieri do to earn a shot the WW title? It's not about belts, it's about sales! Khan is a very marketable foe! This is not new!

So when were Maidana, Garcia, and Peterson ranked at 154 - 160??? GGG has fought middleweights, including middleweight contenders and earned the shot. Khan has not fought a single 154 to 160 pound fighter! We are talking about who has "EARNED" a shot at a Junior Middleweight or Middleweight title and no one Khan has faced or Khan himself has "EARNED" a shot at a Junior Middleweight or Middleweight title. NO ONE here believes Khan has earned it and NO ONE here believes Khan is the one Canelo should be fighting, period!

That's not the point, he has 0 fights @ middle weight, yet he's fighting for the middle weight championship. Based on your logic it would make sense for Kovalev to fight Cotto because he's "marketable".
