Canelo resume is far superior to GGG

Whatever you may think about Canelo. He took big risk fighting Floyd, Lara, Cotto and arguably Kirkland. I say arguably Kirkland because he had long inactivity before that fight an no Ann Wolf. I feel he lost to Lara and obviously Mayweather. However he did take fights were the outcome was unknown is the point and GGG can never say he's done that in his whole career. When given those dangerous fights Ward and he didn't want Froch once his promoter saw how big Froch really was in person. Maybe he'll fight Degale after Degale latest performance which wasn't very good. Plus I think Cotto fights GGG late next year after a fight with Pac. I think GGG is talented however he hasn't fought anyone yet.

Khan has fought better opposition. It makes no difference if the competition was a MW. Was Pacquiao's competition at SWW before he fought Margarito? Was Roy Jones Jr. competition @ HW before fought Ruiz? It made no difference! Did Adrien Broner beat anybody @ 147 before he got a title shot @ Paulie? Damn, it's not that hard!

The fact of the matter is that Cotto and Canelo were always going to fight. It was in the works long before they met. That Cotto had the belt is a technicality. If he would have stayed at jr. Middle he wouldn't have had it and guess what, canelo would have still fought him. Casuals are acting as if Canelo fought Cotto to get the MW belt which he didn't. If anyone had an obligation to fight GGG it was Cotto, he not Canleo that campaigned at 160.

GGG absolutely has to earn the right to fight Canelo. Canelo by his mid twenties had faced the best in his division without question. He built up his own star appeal by fighting top opposition win or lose. He has headline his own successful ppv as the main attraction. GGG is almost 35 and is still, still feeding on Friday night fighters and he is expecting Canelo to boost his profile why? Because he has a belt that he never campaigned for or even wanted? If he is who he says he is he would have accepted Lara's challenge, or Ward or Degale and stop feeding off these fragile no name fighters.

It's evident they tried to Tyson hype GGG by feeding him sheep and then try and force legitimate superstars into money fights with him regardless of the fact that he himself isn't a draw. He should grow some balls, start fighting guys his own size, that are higher than mid level contenders. Martin Murray is his best win Martin Murray, let that sink in.

GGG will fight another Friday night fights level opponent while canelo gets superstar checks for superstar fights.

If you seriously hope for the failure of what has quickly become the most (or second-most) anticipated fight to be made in the sport (I think Kovalev-Ward will be better), how can you call yourself a boxing fan.
