Man this is very upsetting to say the least. First and foremost Canelo NEEDS to fight GGG next if he gets past Khan.
Second thing is now camps have driven me crazy with this "deserve a shot" BS!!!
First it was Sanchez stating that Lara hadn't fought anyone to deserve a shot at GGG and then turning around and picking Willie freaking Monroe!
Now Canelo with this crap! I admired this kid so much for taking on all so early in his career but Come on Son! I know its about the money but in that case STAY QUIET!!!

The fact of the matter is that Cotto and Canelo were always going to fight. It was in the works long before they met. That Cotto had the belt is a technicality. If he would have stayed at jr. Middle he wouldn't have had it and guess what, canelo would have still fought him. Casuals are acting as if Canelo fought Cotto to get the MW belt which he didn't. If anyone had an obligation to fight GGG it was Cotto, he not Canleo that campaigned at 160.
GGG absolutely has to earn the right to fight Canelo. Canelo by his mid twenties had faced the best in his division without question. He built up his own star appeal by fighting top opposition win or lose. He has headline his own successful ppv as the main attraction. GGG is almost 35 and is still, still feeding on Friday night fighters and he is expecting Canelo to boost his profile why? Because he has a belt that he never campaigned for or even wanted? If he is who he says he is he would have accepted Lara's challenge, or Ward or Degale and stop feeding off these fragile no name fighters.
It's evident they tried to Tyson hype GGG by feeding him sheep and then try and force legitimate superstars into money fights with him regardless of the fact that he himself isn't a draw. He should grow some balls, start fighting guys his own size, that are higher than mid level contenders. Martin Murray is his best win Martin Murray, let that sink in.
GGG will fight another Friday night fights level opponent while canelo gets superstar checks for superstar fights.
Best/most accurate, post in this thread.
Props !

Golovkin is the highest ranked middleweight (excluding Canelo), and rightfully has beaten at least 3-4 top 10 previously ranked middleweights. How does that not earn him a shot at the middleweight title?
What did Khan do to earn it, again?

GGG has EARNED the shot at the MIDDLEWEIGHT title by beating MIDDLEWEIGHT contenders! There is no way in hell Khan EARNED a shot more than GGG by not having fought a SINGLE 154 or 160 pound fighter! It does NOT get more simple than that!!!!! We are not talking about popularity or money, we are talking about EARNING A SHOT AT THE MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE, DUH!!!! Get a damn clue if you have to beg, borrow, or steal one!!!

This is really a sad thing for Mexican fans, most are huge boxing fans and have enjoyed watching true boxing warriors from their country give their heart, blood & soul in the ring, win or lose. Now this kid comes along and is just plain embarrassing for that tradition, Give up the belt Canelo and move your sorry hind-end out of Mexico.
