Trinidad also knocked out Hacine Cherifi after the Trinidad fight before he retired. To say he never looked good at 160 is just more ignorance on your part.
He never looked good at MW. Just a fact. Lost to and dominated by career JMW Winky Wright in Wright's first fight at MW after he (Tito) lost to Bernard. He retired and did not look good when he came back.

Okay I get it lol. Thomas Hearns started his career at 147. His best weight was 147/154 so he was never a true middleweight either.

Muhamad Ali started his career in the 180's. He was never a true heavyweight.......

The bottom line is that when he fought Hopkins he was a middleweight and went in as the favorite. No amount of spinning and rewriting history is going to change that. He obviously looked good in the Joppy fight so your claim that he never looked good at 160 is a lie.

Honestly, Bernard's right in a way. If you think about it, Triple G doesn't have any competition at 160 or 168. Hell, I think he could of beat Ward too if GGG adjusted to 168 accordingly. LHW/175 is the weight class where I think GGG can truly be tested.

You should save those BS excuses for somebody else.

Imagine it being like Canelo moving up and GGG beating him. But... a better version of Canelo. Twice.
Canelo isn't moving up though. He has been fighting at MW for over two years.

Not sure Oscar was any better than Canelo at MW. He was much smaller. Much bigger balls though

Joppy's a bum, anyone can look good against him.

Bro, most ATG non-heavyweights moved up and tested themselves against bigger guys. The best two fighters of the previous era (Floyd and Manny) faced similar weight disadvantages numerous times in their careers. The all-time P4P King Ray Robinson started out as a lightweight. He won titles at welter and middleweight. And one of his moat legendary moments came when he was beating Joey Maxim for the light heavyweight title and passed out from heat exhaustion. A pretty consensus P4P #2 Henry Armstrong held the feather, light, and welterweight titles simultaneously. Why is it OK to mention GGG in the same breath as ATGs. But, when GGG is asked to do ATG ****, all you hear is excuses?

He's been fighting at catchweights/155, so of course he's going to move up.
