You've been watching boxing long enough to know that when you fight a Top Rank fighter on a Top Rank card you have to KO Top Rank A-sides because you not getting the decision. Floyd talked about Arum sending fighters away with an L, years ago. Mikey was smart enough to hold out, keep his 0, and get his freedom
...and where he is at? Losing 100s if not million of dollars, has not fought on about 2 years and wasting his time eating tacos.

Any how, MG is a fraud. He only fights little guys and drains himself to impose his size around and get the size advantage like DivaNelito.

that was the offer. never said it was accepted and loma would have got a lot less unless he won and got the bonus

The Provo date and opponent was set in stone. It was part of Showtime's announing their spring/summer schedule. Why the hell would they move the Provo date when they already had an opponent and venue? Arum didn't have an opponent or venue and the fight wasn't scheduled. You not making any sense. So you'd rather see Loma-Martinez than Loma-Walters just because it's on PR day? That makes no sense. Why are you taking the side of promoters over fighters? You must be a wage slave who has never negotiated and worked on contract.
verdejo was a very important part of the show and its to build him around that date. look at the big picture. rocky is with haymon and didn'r have anything for him and had no problem taking that same money walters turned down. rocky is way more way known than walters as well and makes fun fights.....this could have been axeman's coming out party. now he can sit and wait and try to get vargas salido winner or loma vs rocky

Since when did you see this guy ever sided with Arum? Same poster who gets so sensitive when the subject is about Haymon overpaying his top fighters. He then would justify mismatches; that these Haymon fighters need a break and it's okay for them to take on soft touches.

He would then pontificate about fighters risking their lives and all. He completely forgets that there are 2 fighters in the ring where the Salka fighter is the one most likely to be sent to the nearest emergency. That's okay with him as long as the Haymon fighter is out of harm's way and gets paid handsomely.
Bias to WHO? Arum has a long history of Low Ball offers and if you don't take it Arum walks away, runs to the media and tell everybody that the "OTHER SIDE" don't want to fight and turned the fight down

You do what everybody do on this forum Turn it into Haymon vs Arum when Haymon has NOTHING TO DO with the negotiates for this fight. Arum don't want to pay fighters more I have no problem with that but fans shouldn't expect guys to take what ever they feel is enough when we're not the ones fighting. I don't BLAME Walters or any fighter for turning down deals THEY DON'T FEEL IS FAIR!

When it comes to Promoters vs Fighters, I'm 100% Bias TO THE FIGHTERS because without them their is no boxing and their is no big matches which means promoters don't make ANY MONEY! So YES if you want fighters to take big fights, PAY THEM WHAT THEY WANT!
