Loma-Russell had a $1m purse (60-40 Loma)

Gonzalez-Russell had a $850k purse (60-40 Jhonny)

Mares-Gonzalez had a $1m purse (90-10 Mares)



The total purse being put up for Loma-Walters is bigger than all of those, and Walters is making more than Jhonny and almost as much as Lomachenko did against Russell.

I don't blame Walters for wanting more money for the risk, every fighter does. But this isn't some outrageous low ball. $1.4m is a big purse for a fight in those weight classes and $550k isn't some shitty payday.

It is Low Ball and INSULTING! Why should Walters take less which is something nobody can really answer not even Arum. Like I said neither are stars yet, neither are a Draw, neither is selling out arenas or doing big gate numbers

NOBODY should make more, again I think it should be 50/50 straight down the middle. This is a huge fight for BOTH and the winner of this fight AGAIN will be the A-Side in that Division and then after that can demand whatever they want for their next fight.

But I'm not going to tell someone to "TAKE LESS" just because I want to see the fight. Has nothing to do with FEAR or Ducking, if a guy step up and take a big fight he should be paid accordingly not take some **** deal.

These people just don't get it. Walters wanted to make Loma look bad, but as soon as negotiations got serious he wanted until June to make 130 NOT 126.

He got robbed in the Sosa fight. That was not a draw. If that fight would've been anywhere near close, Sosa would've gotten the decision and he would be fighting Loma for the low. Arum has admitted to bribing boxing officials but I'm the crazy one for thinking he fixes fights?
