Yeah, that's not the point.Originally posted by 7001I seen Calvin Brock fight David Bostice ringside seats in Charlotte, NC. Wlad would kill him.
Brock is an up and coming fighter who deserves a big payday. I don't think the fight will last but 1 or 2 rounds, but Brock will go home with a fat check in his wallet and the chance to say he was in there with there with an A class opponent.

Yeah, he's from here so he would definately be the home town hero. But What I was saying is that it's really not a step in the direction of being a undiputed type of champion Lewis was.Originally posted by RunWithKnivesYeah, that's not the point.

it goes against the 'sweet science' and all that it has taught us to suggest that donald fought against wlad on the outside. this is false. donald was able to use 'over-under' tactics to defeat valuev (unnoficially).Originally posted by BrooklynBomberHe he, if donald was able to fight valuev on the outside, I think Wlad will do just fine.
i am, however, still waiting for a fighter to exploit wlad's lack of an inside game. i thought toney could do it for as long as it lasted (about 10 rounds), but valuev would pose a much bigger problem. a difficult opponent for wlad is someone who keeps him from getting set, establish a reach advantage and knows how to follow through after a quick initial move. valuev is all of the above, except he lacks the natural skill and technique that fighters far into the game have learned over the years. it's still an interesting matchup, at least on paper.Comment

Yeah, but think about it realistically.Originally posted by 7001Yeah, he's from here so he would definately be the home town hero. But What I was saying is that it's really not a step in the direction of being a undiputed type of champion Lewis was.
Who is Wlad going to fight? He's a busy heavyweight and virtually everyone is at the drive in while he just finished the matinee.
Valuev is going to the ballroom dance with what the heck.
Rock is going on a date with Maskaev A.K.A. Death.
Liakahovic will play rockem sockem with Brewster again
So we really have a narrow list of suspects.

One thing is positive.Originally posted by 7001Yeah I see what your saying.
Klitschko will not duck, or dodge anyone in the division. Never has, and never will. I really think Brock is deserving of a shot and Toney is a big attraction.
I mean.....Ruiz would just get killed and that's a style mismatch from hell. Mesi....hah, let's cut the comedy. He'd be lucky to get a big payday, or even keep his brain intact.
Rematch T.O.S.? naah. That's not a feature, plus he already beat him in a fight where Williamson didin't even show up outside of a flash knockdown in the 4th.
Oh and I guess Sanil Sam should get a shot! LOL fatboy would be lucky that he even could be addressed by Steelhammer.
