    Like with Andre Berto?

Point was, it'd be a big fight (unlike bum ass Berto) and considering how some of you are insulting Golovkin by saying he isn't a star or a PPV fighter, it'd speak volumes if the skill set he's already displayed was still enough to convince over one million households to purchase a fight between he and Floyd on the off-set that he knocked Floyd out.

Not for much longer brah... He'll most likely be stripped or fight GGG... and lose.

... The Ring lineal strap has rules -- Canelo doesn't bend them... the real lineal title is another thing

I just demonstrated that fighting Floyd isn't a guaranteed one million, and also brought up points as to why a GGG fight would be guaranteed to generate at least that much. Floyd's #1 drawing power is being the villain that everyone wants to see lose. In fairness to Berto, at least part of the reason his fight with Mayweather flopped was because people had just seen Pacquiao not only lose but get schooled, after years of believing that he was Floyd's conqueror. That likely made a lot of people just realize and accept that no one was likely to ever beat Floyd, and so they didn't give Berto a chance. GGG would reverse that perception and make people believe again that Mayweather could lose.

Regardless of whatever the intent behind that statement was, the quickest and surest way for May and GGG to get in the ring is for GGG to meet that condition.
That statement was made because Mayweather doesn't believe that Golovkin will fight & beat Ward. But if Golovikin did shock Mayweather by fighting & defeating Ward, it wouldn't make a difference. The fact is, Floyd Mayweather will NEVER, EVER fight Gennady Golovkin...NEVER.
