He's a real "slick" with his wordplay. Very slippery.
Exactly how is "Golovkin will fight Ward on a 50-50 basis" playing the A side card? Golovkin was willing to split the purse right down the middle with Ward, who had just fought in a half empty arena in front of a dismal 350k on regular cable TV. Is Canelo offering 50-50?

The weight was right down the middle, the average of the weights the two champion held their titles at. Is Canelo offering a weight right down the middle of anything? There obviously is no difference in the weights the middleweight belts are at, but is there even any weight consideration on Canelos part?

An offer from Canelo that would somewhat resemble GGG offer to Ward would be 157.5; 50-50. Im sure Golovkin would take that.

If GGG's team proposed that catch-weight for a September fight (supposing Canelo defeats Khan of course, which is NOT a sure thing IMO) and team Canelo still rejected it, then the ONLY coward here would be Canelo and if he still had any fans after that, well, I guess most people would pity them.
Very fair! I'm gonna blame whoever doesn't take the compromise. Ill turn on Canelo if he doesn't take 157-158. I already don't like the CW sht. But meet in the middle is VERY fair. And if they want do the weigh-in in the morning. That will give them both almost two days to hydrate back up.

The more I follow this beautifull sport, the more I think that you can be a world champion or a "respected trainer" with an average, if not low IQ.

I mean, how these guys being insiders of the sport, and so supposed to be expert, can bring up such genuine but ****** statements is a mistery

Hopefully, being the key word, we will know the next turn in this saga very soon. Being a fight fan, I hope it turns toward the ring next, but somehow I foresee more drama outside the ring than in it.

So you never really cared about fights being fought on fair terms? You just wanted floyd to have his way.

I know. Thats how all of you lame floyd fans are. You play sides when its convenient. Its never been about fair fights.

Golovkin would go up to 168 to face Froch, Chavez Jr, James Degale, and Gilberto Ramirez.

But for Ward it had to be 164 or no fight.

That didn't go unnoticed and I won't forget.

It was never 164 or no fight. It was this fall (2015) at 164, to which Ward countered with next year (2016) at 168 after a tune up in 2016. Loeffler responded to that by saying early 2017 (presumably at 168) if Andre Ward can still make 168. Andre then claimed "lil g" ducked him, vacated his 168 belt, and signed to fight Murdoch then Brand.

Golovkin's Coach: Andre Ward Must Go to 164 or No Fight
Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas - Abel Sanchez, trainer of WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin, has made it absolutely clear that he's not going to budge from his position that a potential fight with Andre Ward will only happen if Ward - the recognized champion at super middleweight - is wiling to meet them halfway at a catch-weight of 164-pounds. Golovkin and his team received more than their fair share of heat in recent days, after placing a catch-weight demand on a potential fight with Ward. The reason for the heat, is because Golovkin was willing to fight both Carl Froch and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. at the full super middleweight limit.
