In Boxing if you want to make the big bucks you have no choice but to do what ever the A-Side wants you to do to not only get paid your biggest purse of your career but to also take advantage of the opportunity to become the A-Side yourself by beating the A-Side
Considering how BIG Canelo is Physically I think it is complete BS on his side to ask for GGG to come down when you're running around with a Middleweight Belt. GGG should be able to come in as high as 160 and if Canelo don't want to go up that high then don't. They both will rehydrate up to the same weight, Canelo might actually be Heavier on fight nightComment

Ward said he'd go to 160 for Floyd. I doubt hed do it for nelo, as he won't go to 164 for gggSays 154 or 168 then runs from fights at both weights when fighters call him out. Says specially he will fight Floyd or Manny (both men who are naturally smaller then Khan by the way) at 154 and that he can make that weight "easily". Yet now he can't go 1 pound higher at 155 and tells Ward for you I will only fight at 168 SMHLast edited by hugh grant; 05-02-2016, 03:52 PM.Comment

Why are all the floyd fans screaming that GGG has to take whatever is offered even if it compromises him?
For the past five years all they cried about was an even playing field. Moaned that cotto lost to Manny because he was "drained" 2 pounds.
But they want GGG to lose 5 more. Pretty weird for a guy they say is overrated and only fights bums.
"We just want a fair fight" - Floyd fans for half a decade.
Why are all the Pacquiao fans screaming that Canelo has to fight at 160 ?
For the past 5 years they defended manny-weight with a passion.
But they just want Canelo to lose.
Pacquiao fans were not interested in " a fair fight ", and they don't give a flying fat fk about the integrity of boxing..... so why now?

I can't see why you two-faced Pacquiao fans have the right to comment.Comment

But he has a built in excuse because Canelo is holding a middleweight belt (ironically, a belt obtained from a 154 guy). If there is a title fight I'd prefer for it to be at 160, because then there are no excuses for the loser, and more importantly the loser's fan base.
What I see happening is Alvarez being stripped for refusing to fight at 160, and then he and Golovkin fighting at a catchweight anyway. If Golovkin loses his only bargaining chip for a fight at 160, he still won't pass up the paycheck after it isn't there anymore. $10M paychecks aren't growing on trees in the boxing world after all, so expect a big drama show at 155.Comment

Is Robert Garcia really this dumb?
****, its like people lose braincells talking about Canelo.
Canelo is a natural middleweight. Floyd is a natural walterweight.
Full ****ing stop.Comment

Hey Garcia, Canelo is entering the ring with a middleweight title around his waist therefore he should defend at 160. If he's willing to go down to 154, there's no middleweight title therefore you have a moot point.Comment
