So, somehow I am the ****** one for not understanding Robert Garcia's point... when you're the one who doesn't get it. He doesn't like CWs, yet he's smart enough to realize a huge payday like this is something GGG would be ignorant to pass up. No matter the outcome, he wins. He gets $5-10 mil, then he can go back to MW or even SMW or LHW if he wants. He can do just fine after the fight... win, lose or draw. You act like this will kill his career. HOW will it do that? He'll have 2-3 more years of prime paychecks until he starts slipping. Add that to the Canelo check. Whether you like him doing ONE fight at CW or not, Canelo has made the rules, and B-side GGG MUST abide by what Canelo tells him to do... IF he wants a career high payday. You are either looking for reasons to **** on Golovkin or being incredibly naive and simplistic.

There has never been a boxer, in the whole history of the sport, who would literally fight anybody within 3 divisions, at whatever weight they told him they wanted, with no negotiations and no questions asked.

Has Golovkin ever said "I will fight anybody between 154 and 168, at whatever weight they tell me to fight them at, with no negotiations no questions asked"?

The answer is NO he has never said that, and neither has Abel Sanchez.

164 is between 154 and 168. If Ward wanted to fight Golovkin so much, why couldn't he either accept "50/50 money and weight" or offer GGG more than 50% of the purse in return for moving all the way up to 168 for him?

160 is also between 154 and 168 and just happens to be the weight limit for the MW division, which is where GGG is mandatory challenger for Canelo's WBC title.

Again, if GGG fights Canelo anywhere between 154.1 lbs and 160 lbs, the fight will be for any title GGG holds at Middleweight, especially if he holds the WBC title. So if Canelo gets stripped, and the WBC gives GGG the title, and GGG then fights Canelo at 155, well per WBC rules GGG's title will be at stake. Now a champion can make a special request to not have the title at stake, but lol at the WBC,IBF, and WBA giving up a pay day.

GGG don't have to put his titles on the line for a CW. The fight could be ONLY for the WBC @ a CW. Obviously I'm sure the other organizations would let him for the $$$$ of course but he doesn't HAVE to! Canelo isn't even RANKED in the TOP #10 by the WBO, IBF, or WBA.

Even if GGG was willing to sell out like that, and I don't believe he is, it would not be good business.
