Comments Thread For: Golovkin's Promoter: If Kell Brook is Serious, We Can Discuss It

Tom Loeffler, promoter for WBA/IBF/IBO middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (35-0, 32KOs), is willing to negotiate the details if IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook (36-0, 25KOs) is actually serious about facing the feared puncher.

On who's behalf? This is a bad fight all the way around for Brook. His sharpshooter style isn't going to beat GGG. Too much to risk for him to loose the '0'. Plus there are a ton of welterweights for the dude to fight.

And although a fan of GGG, I don't know how much I would defend this choice, except maybe on the basis of his limited options at moment.

I wanted brook to fight Floyd, or broner, or Garcia or khsan. Brook csant get a fight right noiw. No matter what middleweight GGG fights its not good enough. Nelo is ducking GGG like nobodies business

Circumstances are bringing these 2 together, a good fight

              Last week:
              GGG: "Brook is too small."

NSB: GGG is ducking Brook, but he had no problem wanting to fight Floyd.

              This week:
GGG's promoter: "If Brook is serious, we can discuss it."

NSB: GGG is a coward for picking on a smaller Welterweight. Why can't be a man and chase greatness like Canelo is doing?

This is a very sad, but very true account of this place as of late...

                  Hmmm interesting.

The same people who were accusing GGG of ducking Brook by using "he's too small" as an excuse will now feign outrage that he would fight an easy opponent like Brook.

Martinez triggered this at the MW...
... If they want to make it should be in the UK... But Brook don't sell too much there and the Brits don't buy tickets in order to watch their (smaller) fighter beat up... Therefore it should be placed at MSG, after Canelo definitely ducks...
                    Hilarious situation anyhow.
