I sure hope I'm wrong! I have to wonder though, if they do 175 and Canelo wins, is he a true MW? Or, are we going to see Caneloweight 2.0? How fked would that be?Yeah I share the same view on this part. The childish mudslinging that goes on around here is beyond ******.
But I'm not still not sure I agree on your conclusions vis-a-vis Oscar and K2, though I can see where you're coming from given the matchmaking of the two fighters in recent years.
Hmmm. I'll give it some thought, but I'm still pretty sure GGG would go to 157 - they offered that to Rosado incidentally, though the surrounding circumstances were obviously different.Comment

That guy is just trying to double think his way through it. Loeffler said a CW is negotiable if Canelo vacates. Whether they'd go down as the mando or not, we'll probably never know since GBP are not gonna call their bluffYeah I share the same view on this part. Canelo can pull anywhere from 300k - 1 mil depending on who he fights. 2.2 mil if it's a Mayweather.
Golovkin's most prized PPV topped off at 97k. If he ever fights Canelo he should definitely expect a MUCH smaller purse than his opponent.Comment

If canelo wants 80-20 he's not getting a catchweight. I think he'd be able to get one or the other but both .... I think GGG would rather just take the belt and make Canelo look like a ***** for blatantly dodging his mandatory. Canelo would be forced to come back to the fight in a year or so time by which point GGG could be unified, undisputed middleweight champ and be in an even stronger negotiation position. Canelo can't fight blown up welters forever and if he is to move up which we all know he will have to at some point all roads lead to GGG at that point.Comment
