I see Khan vs Canelo doing 500k-600k so if more people get mad about this avoidance talk coded into marination talk then I could see it doing south of 400k. Although I've been told for about 18mos that Khan is insanely popular somehow & he'd help Floyd, Manny & now Canelo do big PPV numbers so who knows.

The only thing rubbing people the wrong way is holding the belt hostage. It's common sense that Canelo should fight a legit MW before going straight to the top dog in the division.

It should be Canelo vs. Lemieux in September in a non-title fight with the winner (Canelo obviously beats his limited ass) fighting GGG in May.

GGG can fight Jacobs at MSG or Barclays which would be huge.

Exactly. Canelo should fight Lemieux at 160 to find out if he can really take punches and hurt people for real in that division.

Then if he KOs Lemieux or at least hurts him badly and wins convincingly then he could be more confident to face GGG. Because Lemieux did actually hurt GGG in their fight a few times, it's just that he wasn't effective at all and he was a bit reckless vs. a very dangerous and powerful fighter who was way more effective than him.
