We waited 7-8 years to get Floyd-pac, and even though must fans didn't enjoy it, I'm sure the fighters thought it was well worth it considering the amount of $ they both made. Knowing this, DLH will not rush to make this fight. Personally, I think the earliest it gets made is May, 2017, but wouldn't be surprised if it drags until September 2017

If he loses, it's OK. He gets build back up, fights Rubio, Rosado, Quillin and a few others at 160, comes back for a rematch with GGG 2 years older and Nelo with more experience.

better than not happening I guess but I realky dont get the trend of scheduling fights 1 yr out- Kovalev V Ward and now this. I understand the need to promote, but thats just being greedy. u said it! most fans didnt enjoy it. bc the time had passed. when 2 fighters are clearly the 2 best in the division no marinating is necessary at all
make the fights the fans want when they want them or boxing will continue to lose fans as the older ones die off and younger gen watches UFC

I think they will make the case that Cinco de Drinko 2017 will make this a mega fight in Vegas or Texas vs doing it this fall.
GGG will fight another world class bum and Canelo will have another B side fighter make more than GGG has ever made in his career.
Canelo will offer GGG $10 million plus a 70/30 PPV split for the fight at 155 and GGG will take it.
