Stop lemiux struggled with Rosado and got laid out by Rubio. Fact is canelo has fought and beaten a much higher caliber of opponents. Boxing is littered with examples of fighters looking great against lower tier competitor then losing when they step up in class. GGG is 34 and still hasn't stepped up his class while canelo has fought the best of the best. A lot tougher beating As then it is beatings Cs and Ds. Class matters.

absolute bull****... if Canelo doesn't want to compete at 160 then get out of the division its that easy.. out of 46 fights that Canelo has had i think 32 were in Mexico against cab drivers and bin men so you can cut them out, he dragged welterweight Matthew Hatton up to fight for a WBC 154LB belt.. how that was done i will never know.. then he fought people like Ryan Rhodes Gomez Cintron Mosley Lopes Trout (debatable decision) lost every second of every round against Floyd, then fought Angulo, Lara (another debatable decision) Kirkland and Cotto who he outweighed by about 2 divisions, Canelos record is as fake as him, the only clear wins he has are against cab drivers are second tier shot fighters, he only beat Cotto by coming in 20lb heavier than him, Goldon Boy are ****ting it as Canelo is their only money maker and if they put him in with GGG its the end of his career

I don't know if Canelo could fight punchers like Stevens or Lemieux without getting knocked out. I don't think he'd beat Murray or even Geale.

Saying stuff like this just shows how much pressure they're all feeling, they know they're gonna either be embarrassed by vacating or embarrassed in the ring.

Or letting the world know how full of crap GGG is thinking he's in any position to make demands. He's fought nobody his best wins are against fighters that aren't even as good as canelos stay busy/tune ups. The belt means nothing and if you or anyone wants to fight canelo it's at his weight he's the superstar and biggest draw. Otherwise take a vacant belt out the trash and explain to your fans why you pushing 40 still fighting bums like wade after you said 154 or 168

Canelo might well have gone through GGGs record undefeated, though stylistically there's a few in there that could give him problems. Actually there could be one or two wars - I would love to have seen Nelo in there with Lemieux, Murray and surprisingly Rosado (I think that would make for an excellent match-up despite not being regarded as one of GGGs better wins). What I can say pretty much for sure is that he wouldn't have done it in as dominant a fashion.

What's more interesting to me is where Canelo's team are going with their recent media offensive - are they simply responding to GGGs recent jibes? Trying to dismiss GGG as a worthy opponent? Or are they (hopefully) working up to an eventual confrontation? Time will tell I guess.

We'll know soon enough but all signs point to more ducking. Even this Gbp shill bigdunny is shifting the convo to Canelo throwing his belt in the trash Bowe style

Oscar, what are you afraid of? Are you afraid that your guy is going to lose and get hurt? If not and you are so confident in Saul Alvarez ability, then throw him into the lion's den but you won't because you fear that GGG just might devour him in the ring.

K2 what are you afraid of? If you so confident why you ask for a catch weight with ward why not fight him at 168 like you told the world 154 or 168. Why not fight canelo at 155 one pound higher then 154? But you won't because your these fighters will devour you in the ring. So let's just keep fighting bums like wade until he's 40. Both ward and canelo actually proved themselves in the ring. GGG not so much with his C and D class opponents.

Golovkin looks more spectacular, but historians won't give a fk about that.

Saunders/Jacobs could BOTH end up with better resume's than Golovkin, if they fight each other, plus higher level middleweights over the next few years.

It annoys me that cretins like that jubei **** are waiting for Hypekin to beat Hopkins record by beating bums for the INTERIM WBA belt, so that they can proclaim his greatness..... despite the fact that he has done absolutely nothing.

The WBA are scum for peddling those bull**** belts all over the place, but the fans who glorify that bull**** are even worse.

Beating Murray is not easy, he had a draw with Sturm, lost SD to Martinez and Abraham...
He's on that level of fighter. GGG demolished him with ease.

For sure GGG's resume lacks good names.

I'm not blaming GGG for not doing unification fights, he should have fought Cotto when this one had the WBC belt and Quillin, they were the 2 others men at 160.

But is it really is own fault? Cotto wanted no part of GGG but fought Geale.

I hope he will be able to secure fights with Alvarez and Jacobs now that they beat Cotto and Quillin.

And to be fair, Hopkins also has been defending his IBF belt against a lot of average fighters.

You call "Hypekin" all hype, but his guy has been a great amateur colleting titles on the international scene, and was able to do the same as a pro.

He needs to fight better fighters but calling him an hypejob is wrong.
