Cotto knocked out a weight drained Geale remember bro? 157 dude. By the way Geale was a former unified IBF/WBA middleweight champion, who had 2 split decisions losses to his name when GGG stopped him in 3 at 160. So piss off.Comment

Beating Murray is not easy, he had a draw with Sturm, lost SD to Martinez and Abraham...
He's on that level of fighter. GGG demolished him with ease.
For sure GGG's resume lacks good names.
I'm not blaming GGG for not doing unification fights, he should have fought Cotto when this one had the WBC belt and Quillin, they were the 2 others men at 160.
But is it really is own fault? Cotto wanted no part of GGG but fought Geale.
I hope he will be able to secure fights with Alvarez and Jacobs now that they beat Cotto and Quillin.
And to be fair, Hopkins also has been defending his IBF belt against a lot of average fighters.
You call "Hypekin" all hype, but his guy has been a great amateur colleting titles on the international scene, and was able to do the same as a pro.
He needs to fight better fighters but calling him an hypejob is wrong.
Look, with Team Bull**** (and I am more-than-happy to debate how appropriate that nickname is, with you)..... who fkn knows ?
At 160, I suspect not.
In fact, I know it's not his fault, no question.
Cotto, and now Canelo, have joined Martinez and Sturm..... they clearly want nothing to do with Golovkin at 160, and there could be others.
BUT, there are 2 guys who Golovkin has avoided at 160, there is no question about that..... and they are both much better than the guys Golovkin is fighting..... and coincidentally (IF you believe in coincidences, because I don't) those 2 guys, along with Andre Ward, ALL have a similar style..... movers/spoilers who are notoriously difficult to look good against.
There is no doubt about that either, just keeping it real.
So, considering the fact that even Golovkin himself recently admitted that he desperately needs a name opponent..... and considering the fact that they were willing to drop to 154 for Mayweather and 157 for Cotto/Brook..... I think it is totally inexcusable for Golovkin to refuse to negotiate with Canelo.
I am not necessarily saying that he should accept 155, just that he should sure-as-fk be willing to negotiate..... just like any other fighter who REALLY wanted that fight would do.Comment

Yes, GGG is a certified bum killer, but let's be real, that's a delusional logic coming from Oscar - maybe if Canelo fought GGG foes, he'd be undefeated too but would he be able to beat them in the same manner as Golovkin, knocking these boxers out in the first half of the fight, like in 2-3 rounds? I really don't think so, so that's a weak argument for meComment

Nope !
I said GGG wants to beat Hopkins record by fighting bums, because.....
1) Tom Loeffler recently admitted that Gennady is a huge Hopkins fan, and has been focusing his career around beating Hopkins record
2) the fact that GGG is avoiding world-class opponents and fighting bums
3) the fact that Golovkin's 16-odd " defences " (and I use that term VERY loosely) were for the WBA INTERIM title..... which is a load of horse-****, and has recently been denounced..... BY THE WBA THEMSELVES
If the WBA themselves admit that their interim title is bull****, completely unnecessary, and then subsequently remove it..... then even casual fans and small children should not be running with that rubbish.
They are obviously NOT legitimate defences.
just saying.....Comment
