Finally Eric Gomez is making a statement that makes since about the situation.

GGG and his people did not want to move up weight to fight who at the time was still champion at Super Middleweight and GGG said he wasn't willing to move up 8 pounds.

So again you can't have it both ways.

Canelo and Golden Boy Promotions are going to have to make the right move after Khan fight assuming he gets past Khan.

Up to this point in his career this will be by far the hardest decision in his career.

This entire scenario makes no sense...... I grilled GGG fans for Saying a Catchweight on Ward is ok ( and literally they used the same logic as nelo fans but even more ******ed )and not Froch, but you can't defend Canelo doing the same thing but worse. GGG didn't hold a SMW title, Canelo does and is considered the best in the division and has a Mando date with GGG. If your not a true Middleweight then go back down too 154 as you say you can make it but if your not going to fight at the full limit of 160 then drop the strap or get stripped it's not that hard...... I can believe you have people on here defending this Bull****.
