Read slowly......its optional to move up in weight. You dont have to if you dont want to. You can hold it against somebody for not moving out of there division when the fans want you to.

The problem is when GGG said he would then backtracked....He should have never mentioned moving up until he was seriously gonna do it. Thats only thing we can hold against him.....for being full of b.s.

Ward & GGg aren't afraid of each other , between the 2 of them they've lost like 1 or 2 times since they were adults. And if you probably asked each of them they'd jump at the chance to fight each other

But it's clear as day that since K2 & Abel started saying anyone from 154-168 can get it, They've always sidestepped and dodged talks of a Ward fight. Probably because when they made that statement Andre was going through his issues with Goisen but as soon as that was resolved it's every excuse under the sun to downplay the fight. It's always been Loeffler holding this fight up and putting him in with over matched no hopers.

GGG will listen to his promoters because they got him off boxing purgatory and made him a marketable name and one of the biggest stars in boxing.

Also I saw the interview and Hunter's source did not seem particularly verified. Hunter showed a picture with a guy who he claimed had a picture of himself with GGG.

If you think Fight Hype is completely honest you have a right to your opinion and it's doubtful a link of any sort would change your mind. It's hard to prove a lie is a lie. I think many posters on here believe as I do that Fight Hype is very bias in favor of African American boxers and are indeed dishonest and unreliable. Therefor we never read them so we couldn't tell you about a particular lie and furnish a link to it. Actually I don't think a link is needed. The story this thread is about is clearly a lie and false information.

GGG and his camp is just pathetic. GGG did numerous videos and interviews saying he would go up to 168 to fight. Even close to signing a contract to fight Chavez at 168. Mentioned Froch at 168 as well. But all a sudden when the king at 168 resolves his promotional issues and is now once again a active fighter and calls this phonies bluff saying I will fight you you calling out fighters in my weight class so lets do it. He flip flops and all a sudden enforces a catchweight and uses the classic well I'm the A side so it's take it or leave it at this weight. It's pure Karma that now a real A side is bending him over the negotiation table and giving it to him hard. Difference is at least Canelo has been consistent about the weight he's fighting at. It's not like Canelo said I'll fight Joe Schmo at 160 but you GGG I will fight you at 155. Canelo never made dumb azz comments like calling out other fighters at 154 or 168 and then when people respond said no wait you no not 168 has to be 164 but Chavez ok 168. Floyd/Manny you at 154 but Canelo no way at 155 has to be 160.
