He flip flops and all a sudden enforces a catchweight and uses the classic well I'm the A side so it's take it or leave it at this weight. It's pure Karma that now a real A side is bending him over the negotiation table and giving it to him hard. Difference is at least Canelo has been consistent about the weight he's fighting at. It's not like Canelo said I'll fight Joe Schmo at 160 but you GGG I will fight you at 155. Canelo never made dumb azz comments like calling out other fighters at 154 or 168 and then when people respond said no wait you no not 168 has to be 164 but Chavez ok 168. Floyd/Manny you at 154 but Canelo no way at 155 has to be 160.
      Same old, same old garbage.

Yet they keep ignoring Ward called out Floyd and said he would fight him at 160. These people are bullies. They tolerate things they hate in special cases.

The topic was whether he avoided Ward or not. His reasons are irrelevant. Your lack of reading comprehension conflicts with your pathetic attempt to look intelligent. You should also learn how to spell "analyze".

Are we talking about Mayweather or Golovkin? Deflection to another topic doesn't change the fact that Golovkin avoided Ward. You can spin it any other way you want but those are the facts.

So if he knows he has to budge for guys like Chavez and Froch why not for the bigger star in Canelo who offers the much bigger payday? He was willing to fight Manny/Floyd at 154 so why not Canelo at pound higher at 155?

The guy just explained, when he has to budge he will. Here he's mando, for 3 belts + lineal, 155 is a disgrace. What's worse is, unlike all those other guys there's no real size difference here.

The fact that they don't name this close childhood friend of GGG is proof enough that the story is a made up lie to make Ward look good and GGG look bad. If you already hate GGG and believe in Fight Hype you might believe this fairy tail. I think most of us know it's pure made up BS.

If he lost to Ward, even if it's a SD by 1 round, everyone would have said 'haha the tomato can crusher got beat. overrated hype job'.
Honestly hadn't thought of this angle. I seen Ward vs GGG as far fetched from the start so didn't put much thought into the outcome (outside of thinking Ward would win) or the aftermath, but yea I think you got a solid argument knowing how things tend to get spun in boxing.

mayweather and pacquiao don't hold the lineal middleweight title, nor do they fight in the middleweight division. that's why he would fight them at 154. he would be moving down a division, and them up a division. caneloweight is not an actual weight class. 155 is part of the middleweight division.
