Oscar, Eddie Reynoso and Canelo himself have all come out with some moronic statements about fighting Golovkin in the past week or so, but this one from Gomez beats them all!

He seems to think that 155 is a seperate, legit division in it's own right.

Oscar needs to sit him down and explain to him that Saul is the WBC and lineal middleweight champion, and that the Caneloweight division doesn't actually exist .. well, not yet anyway ..

That's why I don't think GGG wants the belts as bad as he says they do. The fight didn't happen because of $2.5 million difference. They should of just piad Saunders $4 million and took his belt. Now who knows how long it's gonna take to get the WBO belt. If ever. And NO I don't think Saunders is worth $4 million or is any good. But if it's truly the belt then that was his beat shot.

well truthfully none of us know the true amounts that went back and forth. K2 only said it was "life changing", and BJS said it was $1.5 mil. Who knows? And was it in pounds, euros, or dollars? lol

Bottom line is there has to be a line somewhere. What if Saunders wanted $15 million? Should K2 "just pay it"? There is always a line you cant cross, and in this case we dont know what that line is. Is it $2 million? $3 million? Nobody knows.......

Did you happen to see the date in your link? It was 2012. GGG din't have any fights. He was happy to fight Ward even year later. But Ward refused. Then situation changed. GGG gained some following, grabbed belts. He is not desperate anymore to accept anybody from other divisions, when he has options in his own division. But his haters continue to shout "But,but,but 154-168". Omission is a form of lie!
