I would definietly agree with you there, as "legacy" tends to be the 4th or 5th thing on the list for promoters and managers these days.
I dont really blame HBO or Showtime, as they are simply broadcasters selling a product, and really only answer to their subscriber base. In the past most times they tried to make fights that "matter" like Calzaghe-Kessler and nobody but the hard-cores watched it.
