  • Canelo don't want GGG for sure

I've been a fan of Canelo's since he went on a run of Floyd, Trout, Lara, with guys like kirkland and angulo thrown in. I like his fighting spirit and he has a certain skill level but I guarantee you, he will not fight GGG, not at mw anyway.

Canelo knows he has a brand to protect and getting KOd inside 8 rounds won't help that.

totally agree with you. canelo's nowhere near as good as gennady

    Triple G > Canelo (jabwork)
    Triple G > Canelo (combinations)
    Triple G > Canelo (bodywork)
    Triple G > Canelo (timing)
    Triple G > Canelo (defense)
    Triple G > Canelo (chin)
    Triple G > Canelo (footwork)
    Triple G > Canelo (ringgeneralship)
    Triple G > Canelo (balance)

HELL, almost everything... huh, i almost forgot... i can add to this^ Gennady;s amateur experience:

    2001 gold east asian games
    2002 silver world cup
    2002 gold asian games
    2004 silver olympic games
    2000 gold world junior championships
    2005 bronze world cup
    2003 gold world championships

canelo will not fight gennady 100%.. they are of different levels

I learned a long time ago that you'll look far better than you actually are when you face mediocre to shoddy opposition.

Yep. We've seen this over, and over and over again.

I don't think the amateur experience really matters at this stage and Canelo actually has superior timing but he is woefully undersized for GGG and won't be able to take the power. Canelo should never have moved up.

GGG has looked just as good against the best his division has to offer, to such an extent that Cotto said he wouldn't fight him. Now it's Canelos turn.

Some people just don't get it though.

So, he has done what he was supposed to. Ward has done worse against a lower level of opposition. That's a fact. Keep hating though

"Hating"? Baby bottles? Randomly bringing up Ward? Someone's rattled.

Anyway, back to the topic. Yes,he's done what he's supposed to do against mediocre to shoddy opposition. Tells me nothing about how good he truly is. At his age, very disappointing but whatever.

Yeah you're a ward fan, so it's not me randomly bringing it up. He has done worse against a lower level of opposition.

GGG has actually beaten title holders and top contenders, not his fault he is head and shoulders above and gets KOs.

Btw the topic at hand is that Canelo will not fight GGG. Do you think he will?
