I can't believe another thread is being hijacked by haters we are witnessing one of the greatest middleweights of all time and people want to talk trash. I give up I'm loving watching GGG destroy everything they put in front of him. Canelo can drop the belt or man up i hope he chooses the latter.

In all fairness, the division is weak. But ya boy's gonna have to probably leave the division to prove his greatness. Collect titles in multiple divisions. Move up and fight the Ward-Kovalev winner. He's gonna have to do something. Cause right now he's just a good fighter feasting on a piss poor division. And no matter how much they hype it, he ain't **** till he does it to somebody we know is great. That's probably not gonna happen at 160 either.

Why would Lara have to take less? Golovkin-Lara is a PPV fight (Lara's been in fights on premium TV since 2011, his one foray onto PPV was seen by more than double the folks that saw Golovkin's first PPV fight, Lara is a fighter that the boxing world sees as being legit, and Lara would be Golovkin's toughest opponent by far).

$750k plus a share of the PPV over 300k buys would be a fair enough deal to make, and I doubt that Lara(pending disclosure of what he's getting for the upcoming 5/21 fight) or his camp would turn that down.

Golovkin Lara is not a PPV fight. Golovkin won't be doing any more PPV fights unless he fights Canelo.

Which basically means that the Lara will have to happen on regular HBO, and HBO can't pay Golovkin $2M and then pay Lara $1M+ (Cause he's obviously going to ask for more than $1M especially since he's getting that amount by beating guys like Zaveck on Spike).

Golovkin , no more green under trained prospects on house arrest please , your 34 with no resume and that's pathetic. I feel that Gilberto Ramirez will beat GGG easily at 168 so I don't see that fight happening, Golovkin will duck Ramirez at 168. Golovkin is tailor-made for CANELO to shine ,Lara , Cotto , Floyd , Trout Kirkland were all more difficult fights for CANELO.

I'm truly unimpressed with Golovkin , he looked old slow & sloppy with horrible defense. Golovkin has reached his ceiling , he looked worse then before , his career has plateaued. Golovkin looked wild and amateurish at times with bad technique & when attacked he still just freezes and gets hit flush with everything , and if Wade was able to land clean on GGG and make him miss, that's a recipe for disaster going against CANELO. The CANELO I saw against Angulo , Kirkland & Cotto destroys this Gennady I saw tonight. CANELO will give GGG a boxing lesson and an a$$whoopin of epic proportions! CANELO will make GGG miss and make him pay. CANELO chops up Golovkin's body early , sapping that power and slowing Golovkin down, then lands clean flush combos to put Golovkin out cold!

Biggest difference between Tyson and Golovkin, Mike was 21 knocking out heavyweights, Gennady is 34 knocking out middleweights.

The difference is that middleweight has much higher competition, since naturally most poeople are middleweights which is a mean/median/mode of the population. Therefore, guess what? Being an absolute champ at mw is much more valuable.

Difference is Roy did it at light heavyweight. And most of his time spent at light heavy he could have easily been fighting at super middleweight.
