"Broadcasting sports events live from certain regions of Russia can be a challenge," Duva said. "HBO Sports is exploring carrying the event in the U.S. It's too early to be definitive. We know they love Sergey."
    .....

Humm! There is One single question everybody should ask themselves, but it's weird, no one here does. Anyway! what about their EXCLUSIVITY contract, instead Duva is saying HBO love Sergey; Excuse my English, but WTF, her lies reached a whole new level. If it's the case, Kovalev vs Stevenson could & can be setup any day in Russia or else, with more money for both on the table.
    Exclusivity rights, yeah right...
Exclusivity means that no one else has the rights to show it, not that HBO MUST show it. To compare HBO's stance on televising a stay busy Monday afternoon fight in Russia to the biggest fight that can be made is just ******ed.

I wonder why Kathy Duva didn't propose Yvon Michel a fight in neutral ground Russia, for a unification title match, without HBO & Showtime, if she knew all along HBO wouldn't air that fight. PBC would find a US network like ESPN to air it in north america.
But most of people here accept her lies, with Kovalev complicity repeating his dummy lines, come to fight at HBO, exclusivity contract "this & that". Liars...

"Power don't come from a badge or a gun. Power comes from lying. Lying big and getting the whole damn world to play along with you. Once you've got everybody agreeing with what they know in their hearts ain't true you've got 'em by the balls."

That's how governments make you follow their system, and that's why Kovalev team got you; Lies. Their plan is to never fight Stevenson no matter how it looks, but I guess they got you by the balls too.

You just made this up or what: (Exclusivity means that no one else has the rights to show it & other ish***), humm! what part of "The fight will be televised live in Russia by Channel One ( www.1tv.ru/live )" what part of this you don't understand.
The term Exclusivity is the lie. So you're another one team Klimas got by the balls.

He's definitely a future ATG, imo

He would need to beat Ward/Stevenson, and a whole lot more.

Who was going to put the money up to hold it in Russia? it has to be a huge payday for Stevenson to go over there.

If the Russians came with a big offer it would then be up to HBO whether they'd let Kovalev go and while PBC on ESPN likely wouldn't be allowed to air it in the US so nothing in it for Haymon. Unlikely scenario.

I'd venture Russian money could potentially make the fight happen, but it would have to be enough to convince HBO to share it with Showtime, these appear to be Haymon's conditions.
