I'm far from a Stevenson fan, but almost laughable at this point to read crap promoter Main Events and their pot shots at his opponents when looking Kovalev's last three. I'm tired of their 'we couldn't get anyone' every time a crap defense is booked. Set for a Monday with no U.S. TV tells you all you need to know.
Few years ago I would've said the same, but after they didn't cover GGG fight in Monaco, they got a ton of heat from subscribers. I think this gets one of those low budget, midday special on HBO2.

Kovalev is no GGG in popularity, and this isn't even weekend afternoon. Who's watching boxing Monday noon?

HBO had said from the start they were not going to cover his fight in Russia, unless it was Beterbiev or someone on that level. On a Saturday would have been a longshot. On a Monday? No way. Maybe they show highlights on a card taking place that weekend or the next.
Kovalev vs Chilemba, brought to you by Andre Ward's giant pink pu$$y Thought Ward really really wanted to fight Kovalev, dummies? lol
I believe the agreement is for Ward to fight Kov in Nov. Both were allowed fights in the interim, per the agreement. I believe that info can be found, surprisingly, in this article. I have every reason to believe Ward will honor the agreement.
