it was widely reported that the offer was a 50-50 split, 15-18 months down the road after a few Ward tuneups. It would have resulted in GGG giving up his Canelo mando spot, as well as being stripped of the IBF title.

In other words, it was a ridiculous "offer", that nobody (except for the GGG hate squad) took seriously. It was the same as if you were looking for a new house in 3-6 months, but some realtor wanted you to sign a contract for a house that wouldnt even be built for a year and a half down the road.......
