Man...young max on FNF was my guy...he is a puppet now.....he knows damn well Pacquaio is not, was not and will never be the best in an era that had a fighter as dominate as floyd. Its not logic being used by those who say this, its preference. Proof is in the pudding and no one can take that away from Floyd. Thats what youtube is for

He only fought Gatti because he couldn't get Kosta Tszyu. Gatti was the next highest ranked JrWW at that time as incredible as that sounds.

I see that now, but is there really a need for caps lock? You're not getting the message through anymore differently.

Similarly he believes that since Pacquiao, as the former lineal flyweight champion, had to move up more times to make it to WW that what he did in winning some rounds against Floyd was more impressive in his opinion than Floyd winning against the naturally smaller fighter. Says Pacquiao being a top fighter at WW, as a former flyweight, would be like Floyd, a former SFW, being a top fighter at SMW.

I don't agree personally, but figured why not make the thread anyway since the video has like no views and the original statement from Kellerman had prompted a lot of discussion.

The point where Kellerman's argument hits the skids is that not only did Pacquiao get routed by Floyd, left enough on the table to have the judges give Bradley the first fight, basically lost the four Marquez fights(getting KTFO in the penultimate fight), lost a narrow fight to Erik Morales, and got KO'd in two earlier fights in his career.

You weigh that against Floyd Mayweather, a fighter who was basically at world level for 18 of his 19 years as a professional, and who was only taken to the hilt in maybe a handful of his career fights, and rating Pacquiao over him is ridiculous.

It's odd the same people that was on Max nuts for saying Jacobs had a better win than GGG have all of a sudden turned on him.

The same group that praised Max for the post fight interview on May 2nd are now upset he thinks Manny is greater.

Let's face it, at the same age Floyd was losing to Augie Sanchez in the amateurs, Manny was knockout grown men . At the same age Floyd was getting shut out I the Olympics, Manny had become a world champion.

one man has done something no one else will do, while the other had a great career but not even the first to do it in his life time.

It's disrespectful to even compare the two, one man has done something no one else will do, while the other had a great career but not even the first to do it in his life time.

Meh. It's a dumb opinion. Hardly surprising.

do we count Manny's losses as a pro when evaluating his career?
