I remember talks of a 10-8 rd for Mosley vs Mayweather since he hurt him not once but twice in one round.

Thought Lederman gave him a 10-8, but he didn't. Either way, I don't really care if Pacquiao didn't put on the perfect technical display and how pretty he looked doing it, it could've been Bradley in his wild winging mode(think Alexander fight) all night. If he won the rounds he won the rounds, he wasn't getting hit much, it wasn't back and forth, he was just beating Mosley up.

10-8 round for landing two clean punches and one of them rocking him?

Never heard that described as a 10-8 round in my life.

And how you wins the round makes a big difference. Two guys can win fights 12-0 one can look impressive one can look not so impressive. Mayweather-Mosley and Pacquaio-Mosley is an example of that.

Max is right, Floyd just PED abused his entire career and waited years and years before he actually fought the guys people wanted him to.
Floyd is a promoter, Pacquiao is a fighter that's the difference Floyd was good but he was bad for boxing not what people want to see he brought an sense of poison touch to boxing it had been stagnated so badly and he created the proper standard the ALL TIME GREAT standard of ducking and I mean he waited 6 god damn years fighting at the same weight as this guy before he actually fought him then when he eventually did he got busted for using dope masking techniques...
You can be a fanboy and be naive and just play it down or you can be a realist and realize a lot of athletes cheat and Floyd is just another one of those guys a liar and a crook who has harmed the sport but luckily we have a chance to revive the sport once more Pacquiao kept casual fans talking about the sport that was the only good part about it.

What I do find funny is that many, including Kellerman and most around here, were saying how this fight would determine who the greatest of this era was. Now, seems like most on the other side suddenly have short memories since things didn't turn out as expected. Not that im surprised tho.

Impressive or not, Pacquiao dominated. Like I said, it wasn't back and forth, Mosley was in survival mode and Pacquiao was just beating him up.

Pac took risks and fought everyone. No Amount of spin can change that.

Definitely the Best of this Era.

When assessing a Resume, all One has to do is look at Names and when one fought those names. That's it.

In that respect, Pac is Superior compared to Floyd. I realise this is an emotional topic for a lot of people and some will let their Emotions override Critical thinking, but It is what It is.

Floyd is great, but not perfect in my view. He never fought a bigger guy than him. Did he? Even Canelo's frame was the same size. Floyd also seemed to avoid bigger guys with range and reach -- Margarito, P. Williams.

Many of Floyd's wins were against smaller cats. I think he managed his boxing career very intelligently -- as Kellerman points out. Doing a fake early retirement and so forth.

It's his opinion of course but his logic is not a whole lot different than people ranking Roberto Duran in the top 10 p4p of all time, above Hagler, Hearns & SRL.

Well when you have posters who say dumb **** like this then you know why it's pointless to debate on boxingscene.
