Williams was mad, he complained, but he moved up to 160 and fought another guy who was getting ducked by champions at the time Sergio Martinez. That's how you do it.
Margarito was the only one that fought Williams. He could of vacant his belt but chose to fight. That's not ducking.

Ward ducked GGG many years back and now came out of retirement fought a bum in Smith he talked the big game about a GGG fight and he backed out of the idea of it because he couldn't have everything his own way so its obvious it was Ward who ducked GGG.

ward too big and skilled for lil g.. gg was on his knees ready to fly to fight froch but needs a cw for ward.. not sure why people even still talk about this, these are facts.. the fight is never happening

Margarito fought Williams in 2006. That's not what i'm talking about. I'm talking about when Williams was calling out Margarito in 2008 after he beat Cotto for the WBA belt and Williams was the WBO champ, and Marg signed to fight the seemingly easier Shane Mosley for early 2009. That was a duck. A WW champion ducking another WW champion trying to unify. That's a complete duck.

After Mosley beat Margarito for the WBA title, he was opened and honest about his duck and said he rather avoid Williams because that would be a terrible match for him. He preceded to call out Pacquiao, which Roach responded saying Mosley is too big, too strong, and there's not enough money. Then Mosley called out Mayweather when he announced his return to fight JMM.

Because Ward is a LHW. Why would I want GGG to fight a LHW? I want to see him fighting the bets MWs out there, not LHW's.

That wasn't a duck. He was offered 4 mil offer that was like Floyd's 40 mil offer to Pac. He wasn't scared of Williams. If you want to count it as a duck you also have to count the time when Margarito wanted a rematch and Williams said no.

That was a duck, there's no need to be ashamed of it as a Margarito fan. Every WW ducked Williams at that point.

Sure, yeah, call whatever you want a duck. As long as you admit Margarito ducked Williams in 2008-2009.

You're reaching very far with this example. Paul Williams was a massive WW picking on smaller guys. He wasn't at a size disadvantage moving up, but rather fighting at his correct weight nor was he ever in position to be the king of the division.

GGG moving up while being in the cusp of being Undisputed MW Champion and joining the ranks of boxing royalty is the dumbest thing I ever heard and those that keep throwing it around really are bias.

I like GGG. But this is real simple. You don't say 154-168 and then say 164 for Ward. AND then say no to catchweight for Canelo but you'll go to 154 for Floyd.

Even if you love GGG that whole thing is whacked.
