I'd still pick Ward and Kovalev over Golovkin, they are light-heavyweights after all.

Im a GGG fan, but hypothetical fights are just that. Those three fighters are all threats to each other...Until they signed to fight each others it's just a matter of opinions. But I'm glad Boone is giving tremendous respect to GGG...

GGG is so hated on here that it's great to hear something positive about him since I am a huge fan of his. It's just Boone's opinion but it's an important opinion that carries some weight because Boone has fought Ward and Kovalev. The GGG haters on here seem to hate him for no real reason. Maybe they hate him because so many important boxer ratings like Ring, HBO, Boxing Scene, ESPN and Boxrec rate him in the top 4 in the world pound for pound and higher than their favorite fighter.

Im not a hater. I just dont see him winning those fights. I respect Boone's opinion. But i dont even think his team fancies his chances against those guys.

I'm a fan as well. I get wanting him to face better opposition, even though I don't think that is all his fault. You look at the guys he's beaten and they may not be the absolute best or any kind of stars, but damn. Look what he did to them. Did any of his opponents win one round against him? I think his break out fight is right around the corner. So maybe the hating will die down once he blasts through a "star." Of course, then it might be "Well the only decent fighter on his resume is..." And so on. I definitely hope not.

or maybe GGG avoids it until finally submits to OSDT because he needs the money like Manny. Fake an injury after taking the loss to Ward.

Or maybe Ward fakes an injury as he already did for his november fight. Lol

Guys is an opinion, maybe he received too many punches to the head and thats it.

I strongly beleive that Ward vs GGG is a competitive match up.

Against Kova, I dont know. I see Kova winning just by brute force

GGG gets dominated by Ward IMO, Ward has every advantage except power. Faster, Taller, better defense, physically stronger, better counters, fights better inside and out. experience at the top level. you name it. Kov vs Ward is the fight thats competitive

GGG gets beat up by both these guys...too big and too skilled for him.
