Easy to call Canelo a punk for wanting the catchweight. But, he has never weighed in at more than 155 and he also has never fought a full fledged middleweight. Couple this with the fact that the other guy has been running around for years saying he'll fight in 4 weight classes and STILL wants a fight at one pound LESS than what Canelo is asking against the guy that beat Canelo...and Saul's position starts to make at least a little sense.Comment

Yeah, it makes sense to suppose if he wont defend the belt at the full 160 he should get stripped. But, take into account what I have already said then factor this next in also- the WBC is allowing the fight between him and Khan be for the belt at 155. The winner has 15 days to decide if he wants to fight the mandatory. What is to stop the winner from saying "yes, I want the fight and I will defend at 155...JUST LIKE I DID MY LAST FIGHT. The WBC has already set the precedent. All Canelo has to say is that he is willing to defend. To my knowledge, nothing in writing says that defence cannot be a catchweight.Comment

What? You think the WBC will operate on principle???? Ha, no way.Comment

I am talking about what is most likely to happen.
And I don't see the WBC choosing against Canelo.
And i don't see a court case working either.
Just my opinion.
Like the one I had right after the Cotto-Canelo fight when I predicted the WBC would find a way not to strip Saul then.
And they wont now either.
Sorry.Comment

Canelo didn't have the balls to fight Austin Trout, then he did.
He didn't have the balls to fight Lara, then he did.
He fought Mayweather and Cotto, but he's a coward an a fraud according this is guy?Comment
