What? You think the WBC will operate on principle???? Ha, no way.
    Tryin' to tell folks.

They don't want to hear it tho.

Then, when Saul insists on the catchweight and get his way, they are going to act shocked.

No way they choose over Canelo for a guy that did 97,000 buys in his PPV debut.

Saying he's putting it off is a negotiating tactic.

This, combined with the fact that GGG just called out Floyd again (whom he originally said he would fight at 154), means he HAS to negotiate a catchweight with Canelo or else lose face.

You make very good points here.

Some people even thought Angulo would KO him

When you're talking about ring age its true Manny has been in more wars and relies on his speed which slows as you age but you have to take into consideration how much Mayweather relies on his speed and his reflexes which slow down as you get older as well. The fight would've been better in 2009 or 2010 but they both aged and in one way or another.

I mean I know people want GGG to be next.
So do I. But they're negotiating the fight. The fact Oscar is saying later, later, only means he's using negotiating tactics to get what he wants from the GGG fight. The split, the weight, the venue, gloves, ring size, everything.
And every fighter who has ever been the A side does this.

I mean how long did Cotto make Canelo wait? How long did Chavez Jr. make Martinez wait? Pacquiao made Marquez wait, etc. etc.

It is not like Canelo is saying he's not fighting GGG. As I said they're still in the negotiating process. We might end up getting it in September.

So its ok to be a champion avoiding mandatories and never fighting at the actual weight of the division.? You canelo fans need to accept hes in the wrong here and stop trying to justify his BS.

                    Exactly.

                    Floyd BEAT Canelo.

Him, you have NO PROBLEM going to 154 for?

But, the easiest fight to make can be done for one pound less stress and you can't?

He is giving Canelo and the WBC their out clause and he doesn't even realize it.

Right. Floyd's extensive amateur career. Fighting the best fighters in the world internationally doesn't compare to fighting guys that spent most of their days peddling stolen cigarettes on the streets in the Phillepines. And would "box" whenever they could for a $10 of rice to take home to the fam. Y'all got me. Manny's definitely has less tread om the tires.
