How many times in history a fighter was so avoided?

I'm not sure Rigo is avoided or badly managed, i think the truth is somewhere in the middle. I'm not saying he isn't avoided by the top guys, he probably is but he's fought about 1 or 2 fighter in the top 50 in the division. I understand the very best fighters in the division might avoid him but i can't see any reason why a top 10-15 guy wouldn't fight him, if they lose, so what? - So even if they cant secure the best fights due to being avoided, i'm sure they can book some better fights than they have been. It's a similar situation with GGG i think. The other champions won't fight him, but the rest will. He's just managed better than Rigo and more exciting so has HBO behind him, so they secure the other fights easier. If Rigo had a better team around him, he would get more regular and better fights easier, but maybe not the other champions.

Luis Ortiz will be avoided. When other fighters and promoters are talking about how they want to fight, he's name is seldom brought up.

Donaire was the darling of the division .. Rigo scorched the kid like he was fighting a fighter with under 15 fights.. You can see why he's avoided

I can't think of a fighter more feared and avoided than Amir khan. Pacquaio, golovkin, Floyd, all ducked him. Golovkin isn't feared like Amir has been his whole career.

Rigo was offered lomachenko fight and said no... so if you are thinking that Golovkin chose not to move up to SMW to fight Ward in 1.5 years and thus he isn't avoided but Rigo is then you are mistaken sir.

3-4 times a year against the best that are willing to step into the ring with him... He is being Ducked by anyone who has something to lose (BJS, Canelo, Cotto, maybe Danny Jacobs... still undecided on Danny), but he destroys every other top middleweight who was willing to enter the ring like Mathew Macklin, Martin Murray, Daniel Geale and David Lemiux.
